Disability Care
BCS is committed to enhancing the independence of all our clients, including people living with disabilities. We offer a range of disability services through our network of BCS Care Centres across NSW and the ACT.
In-home care
BCS has a variety of Home and Community Care (HACC) programs such as Domestic Assistance, Personal Care & Respite to assist clients living with a disability. We also have 5 CSTDA programs specifically for people living with disabilities. Four of these are for school aged children and include before & after school care & vacation care.
For more information about disability services in your area, use the Service Locator in our In-home Care section.
Hunter Contracts Employment Service
BCS also runs a unique program in Newcastle known as Hunter Contracts. This unique BCS Hunter Contracts service gives people with psychiatric disabilities the opportunity to participate in paid and supported employment, which may enable a return to the mainstream workforce.
