Maranoa Centre – Lismore is idyllically nestled in a quite corner of Lismore, only a short distance from public amenities including a shopping centre and hospital. The Centre is operated by leading Christian care provider, BCS AgeCare.

Our Centre offers 75 beds, including high care, low care, dementia care and respite care services. In addition, Maranoa Centre – Lismore features covered verandahs, lounge rooms, peaceful courtyards and garden areas for residents to enjoy together or with family and friends.

Low Care

This single storey 20-room facility includes rooms with ensuite facilities and emergency call systems. Rooms have fans and heaters or air-conditioning and all access to rooms is via covered walkways. The family room has Austar and library facilities, which are regularly updated.  

High Care

This 55-bed facility is a combination of single and shared rooms that have access to an emergency care monitoring system. A comfortable lounge room, intimate courtyards and picturesque gardens are located throughout the facilities, which are available for private gatherings for families and friends of residents.

Dementia Care

Maranoa provides 5 high care dementia beds in a secure wing. The residents of the secure wing have access to other facilities within the Centre. BCS has been awarded for its innovative dementia care model.

Respite Care

High care and low care beds are available for clients requiring respite.

All BCS residential centres are served by specialist chaplains committed to enhancing the care of residents and their families.
