BCS MayCare Community Centre
88 Hanbury Street, Mayfield NSW 2304
(02) 4032 5285

BCS MayCare Community Centre is a vibrant, engaging community space in the heart of Mayfield, an inner suburb of Newcastle.

The centre is a new BCS initiative in 2010, being run in partnership with Mayfield Baptist Church.

The centre operates a range of services aimed at people living with disadvantage, as well as people from NESB. The centre provides a drop-in space for the local community and incorporates a BCS Food 4 Life outlet and Opportunity Shop.

A number of other community groups also use the centre, including a supported playgroup, Alcoholics Anonymous and Gamblers Anonymous. The centre is also home to the BCS Night Vision street outreach team.

There are exciting plans for the expansion of services at the centre over the next 12 months, including the introduction of BCS LifeCare Counselling and Family Services’ programs.
