LifeCare Relationship Services

BCS LifeCare Relationship Services are offered to individuals, couples and families in the Bankstown, Campbelltown, Penrith and Central Coast areas.

Our clinically trained and supervised staff can assist you in a range of areas including:
Specialised domestic violence programs and counselling are also offered as well as counsellor supervision and training, consultancy and training to community organisations and the Life Aware Suicide Prevention Program.

Flexible appointment times and sliding scale fees are available for all clients.

BCS LifeCare Counselling offers the following specialised programs:

For children and adolescents:

  • R.E.A.C.T.T - An anger management program for adolescents
  • Kids Time - A group program for children who have experienced family violence
  • Connections - A program for mothers and children to rebuild their relationships after experiencing domestic violence
  • Kids Between - A group program for children impacted by family separation

For adults:

Domestic Violence

  • Living Beyond Abuse - A support program for women who have experienced domestic violence
  • Facing Up - A program for men who want to take responsibility and stop using violence in their relationships
  • Introduction to Facing Up - An introductory program to the Facing Up group, for men to examine their abusive behaviour
  • Connections - A program for mothers and children to rebuild their relationships after experiencing domestic violence

Anger Management

  • Beyond Boiling Point - A program for women and men who want to manage their anger responsibly
  • R.E.A.C.T.T - An anger management program for adolescents
  • Snags on the Grill - A group for men in a casual BBQ setting to talk about challenges facing men (Central Coast only)

Parenting & Life Skills

  • Parenting After Trauma - A program for mothers with children that have experienced child sexual assault
  • Listen Up - A series of workshops for adults on listening skills and the art of communication
  • Pathways to Parenting - A program for parents with children who have children in out of home care
  • Triple P Positive Parenting Program - For parents wanting to learn tips, hints and behaviour management strategies. Read more about the Triple P program here.

TAKE 2 - Respectful Relationships

BCS LifeCare Relationship Services also runs the TAKE 2 - Respectful Relationships program. The program aims to raise awareness about what’s ok and not ok in relationships. It teaches Year Nine students to identify components of a healthy and an unhealthy relationship, while encouraging students to think about what they would like in a relationship. The program then teaches some tools we need for a healthy, respectful relationship, such as effective communication.
